I don't have any experience with eVoice. I was considering using them for my business. However, with all of the bad reviews here about billing, charges--over and multiple, no tech service on the weekends, so phone service for business weren't available, and rude...

I have had their service for several years. I had a toll free number from MCI ported to their service as well as my fax number...had to go from their 12.99 plan to 29.99 for the fax.

I am in the process of going back to Comcast for my service and I have to PAY them to port MY number that I transferred to them back! FCC is my next email.

It happened to me too. I ordered eFax, and suddenly they charged eVoice on my credit card. A service which I don't know what it is, never asked and never used.

I am a new customer with evoice. I am within the trial stage for my small business. When setting up the sevices, I was charged 3 separate charges of $25 for a professional greeting that I thought was supposed to be a part of the free trial. While going over my banking...

Getting Billed w/o history | Evoice review from Reston, Virginia

So, they offered a conferencing service as part of my package and never informed me that the conferences would be billed against my minutes. OK, so I can get that I wouldn't catch that...it's not clear, but OK. So, I there is no history available of when the calls were done, to what numbers, how long, nothing. So, how am I to trust accuracy and legitimacy? I wish I could charge my clients for stuff and not have to explain it. They have offered nothing in good faith, and their rep was not empathetic. Apparently, evoice isn't aware of just how many other options are out there. Don't use them!

Evoice Takes Advantage of Customers

Evoice takes advantage of customers by not giving them an opportunity to pay online. If your payment is due on the 17th and not received, they will immediately charge you a late fee on the 17th. It's the most aggressive billing I've ever seen. Their customer service SUCKS. There are long wait times and they don't care about their customers. What they care about is making money. I don't recommend that you do business with them! Even if you have to pay extra avoid them! There are other companies that value customers. Evoice doesn't value customers, just making money. Good luck!

I respectfully disagree. Maybe there has been a huge improvement, but none of this is true.

eVoice is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I decided to try it, but took a month after signing up to really give it a spin. I had to forward my cell phone number due to going out of the country.

I had no idea how I would use the features, but fond out through trial and error. It is deep.

At eVoice we highly value the relationship with our customers. You can update or change the credit card used for billing at any time through the user interface.

The billing date never changes so that customers can plan accordingly.

We do charge late fees when attempts to collect billing fail. Customers can connect with us over the phone, via email, or via our social media channels 24/7.

I have had an eVoice number for more than eight years; possibly twice that long. I have been an extremely happy customer who gladly touted the service, all of these years.

Suddlenly, without advance notice, warning -- or even after-the-fact notice -- my number stopped working.

Now, after numerous calls and e-mails, I still have not gotten any kind of explanation.

They tell me no account with that phone number exists, and that no account is associated with the e-mail address they have sent so many messages to, over these many years. This is on the telephone: utterly no explanation.

By e-mail? Nothing at all.

One message was rejected, as if my e-mail address had been blocked, so I used a different account, and still not one word of response.

If there had been some warning, or some explanation, I might have simply pulled out my credit card and signed up for another number. Under the circumstances, that probably won't happen, unless the figure out how to set me back up, at no charge, and let me use it for long enough to be reassured that they are not going out of business or ripping people off or going to do the same thing again.
